This was my first purchase at overstock. I was a bit worried about buying a humidor online without being able to see it or touch it. But. I ordered it, recieved it and it was perfect. Even better then what I thought. The value is way better then what these humidors go for in private shops. I was very pleased with it and the the way it came in. No dents or nicks and as described. I would definetly recommend this humidor and recommend overstock to anyone who is looking to shop at a reasonable price for quality merchandise. THANKS OVERSTOCK!
First and foremost I have to say that this humidor is fantastic. The overall look of it is very appealing. The glass top and upper tray is nice for displaying your top shelf smokes to the curious and the lower storage area is quite spacious. The little foam pieces that help hold the cedar dividers in place is a little flimsy, but work well. The hygrometer works well and is about as accurate as any analogue one can be. Though it is a shame that its dial is plastic and not metal. The humidifier it ships with is well suited to the size of the box, if not maybe a bit big as its a bit too humid (it sits on the high end of about 76) so you may want to buy two smaller humidifiers to better regulate it. Also it was pre seasoned so I didn't need to take the time to do so myself which was a plus! Only negatives are that there isn't much room to put a digital hygrometer in the box in a neat way, I just have it sitting in the top tray. Plus the included cutter while good (and with a lifetime warranty, you just pay the postage) I would rather have paid an extra ten bucks and picked myself up another Xikar Xi2. No postage on those, just take it into your tobacco store if you have a problem, and they'll fix it or replace it.
