The kit is fine, but there are certain things that it requires that are not included, like the hydrometer. I do not keep one of those around my kitchen nor do I know what it is.

These kits are very user friendly...I find that the only people who complain are the ones who didn't realize that they need to buy the Homebrew Equipment Kit. This particular brew had a lot of different ingredients, Grains, Malt, brown sugar, hops, yeast, etc....but the instructions are great. With that said, this beer is dark and rich with a very full head. Buy this one.
