Guitar looked great. Plays well. My son is just learning so wanted to get him a starter guitar. Looked at several online and in the shop brands. If he does not take to it then only $*** out of pocket so far. However he is very excited about it. The nut that holds the input connector came loose and fell inside the guitar. Had to get it out and put the nut back on. nothing else seems wrong with it. Also the guitar was ordered on the 9th of December as a Christmas gift. did not come till after Christmas. good Cheap guitar for starter.

We bought this product from overstock, since our daughter was eager to play. The violin arrived, and at first it looked, and sounded great. However, after one day of playing, it would no longer stay in tune! The tuning dowels are loose, and stay that way. When you try to tighten the strings, they immediately untighten themselves before your eyes. Now we have to take this in to get looked at by a professional, to see if it can be helped. This violin now has been sitting in it's case for over a month because it is unplayable! Daughter is complaining for another violin, one that she can play. I wish now we had of bought locally, and invested a little more into a better product. This product is junk. Save your money, because mine went OUT the window on this instrument they claim is a violin. Very unsatisfied!!!

I tried to amend a review I wrote when the product was first received, but apparently you can't do that. While the instrument initially appeared to be acceptable (after a trip to the repair shop to have it set up - something that an instrument from a reputable music company would NOT have to have done), I now feel that I would not recommend this instrument. After less than a year from the time of purchase, most of the fine tuners do not work, which is a minor annoyance turned major since they are built into the tailpiece and can't be cheaply and easily replaced. But the biggest concern is that it developed a very large crack in the top and is back in the repair shop. This repair involves taking the top off of the cello and carefully gluing finely measured bits of wood over the crack on the inside to close it up. This is an extensive and time-consuming repair which is costing the student several hundred dollars. All that money spent and the cello will still sound like a $$$ cello ...

I really like the quality of the item and the ease of use. it is fun to play and the keys are a good size not too small. the only thing is it needs a volume control. it is very loud to me by my ears. maybe I will have to wear ear plugs? but it is fun and cute not too heavy. love the case too. It would be nice if a simple little song book came with it to help teach me how to play it. teach all the keys and different approaches to the playing method. I took piano lessons as a child for one year so I know how to read notes.
