I purchased this jewelry box because 1) it had a place for hanging necklaces 2) it had a travel box 3) it had a lot of storage 4) the price was right. I have not been disappointed in any way with this jewelry box. It's large enough for (I would guess) most people's jewelry collections, has a lot of variety in sizes of compartments and the travel box is large enough. The only complaint I have is there is no compartment that is big enough for a standard jewelry box (that you receive jewelry in from a jeweler) to be held.

It is sturdy, nice compartments and holds my chains well. I am glad I bought it.

I was a little disappointed when I received my order to find that the back of the jewelry box had become unglued, and consequently when the sides were opened it was only held on by the ribbon attaching the lid to the main box. Since this jewelry box was totally perfect and absolutely what I wanted in all other respects, the back was quickly fixed with superglue and I have been very happy and satisfied with it ever since! The drawers contain plenty of compartments in varying sizes, so there's no worry about anything not fitting. The necklace hooks on the sides are a good idea, but unless you only have very thin necklaces you won't be able to latch the sides shut when they're actually in use.

Good value for money, has multiple compartments with room to hang chains, rings and bangles.

I gave it to my adult daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Durability wise I don't have any idea yet but it is laid out well and she was very happy with how much it holds.

While it does hold the amount I assumed it does -- the product looks a little bulky and heavy to have sitting out on a dresser or bureau. Additionally, the leather is pulling away already from edges and where it is wrapped around drawer slots/openings.The quality really could have been better.

I purchased this for my daughter for her birthday and was thrilled at how nice it is. Not huge, but plenty of places to store things for someone with a small/med jewelry collection. The red leather was very nice, did not look cheap or fake as I had worried.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It is the most organized my jewelry has been in years. I do agee with others reviews that the lock is not going to be long lasting.

Product exceeded my expectation in terms of quality and design. The travel compartment is perfect to protect items for short trips, as it is too small for large necklaces,bracelets or heavy pieces. The sides for hanging strands is great, but these will not close flat if large diameter beads are hung. The case closing design and carrying handle are well-conceived to move the box from closet to dresser top or from place to place without losing any items.

I've been looking for a jewelry box for over a year that has enough unique hooks, nooks and crannies for my favorite baubles. I found the perfect box a few months ago, but it was $300! That's nuts. This one is a fraction of the price and functions about as well. I wish it had a few more necklace hooks, but there's ample drawer space to make up for that. The design is pretty awesome and the leather is nice. It didn't smell when it arrived. The one drawback is that I can tell the lock won't last long -- it's already sticking alot. But for the price, it's a great and very functional jewelry box.

This jewelry box is a nice size. It had an awful "new leather" odor for the first several days, but it did fade. It holds quite a lot of jewelry for its size; however, the lock mechanism is not very durable and doesn't close all that well.
