The dog bed itself is great, very durable material and extremely comfortable, however it is not as large as it appears. It's sold as a medium size dog bed and it really only for small dogs. I was disappointed to see there is a picture of a golden advertised with the bed and to tell you the truth, there is no way a golden would fit on it.
Bed looks sharp, material is fine, definatly wish the cover was removable, haven't wash it yet, have a extra large washer and hopes it will wash without twisting bed too much. Sides are good height and shape was great. Price was okay and received promptly. Was packaged well and the overall rating was good.
My dog is a nester & she loves this bed as the rim is raised so she feels more secure. I haven't washed it yet but I'm sure it will be fine judging by the texture of the fabric. I would recommend this product as it is very good value for money in comparison to retail stores.
Bought one previously about a year ago to be used for my basset. He loves sleeping on it, and turned the bed into one of his favorite spots to rest his head. He turned down all the edges to make a big fluffy pillow and sleeps in it, or rests his head with it. Sometimes he undos the bed into it's original doughnut shape. We were afraid he might break the bed or scratch all the filling out of it, but it is strong enough to hold his scratchings/nestings nightly. This boy can bite and scratch the heck out of anything and tears comforters and blankets. BUT, he hasn't gotten to the filling or ripped this bed as of yet. He and we love this bed so much, we purchased another one for the bedroom where he sleeps at night. He sleeps in the living room for most of the day, and moves into the bed room at night for a few hours, then to his favorite bed again. I'm so happy about this product, and I'm happy he's using it and loves it. It was hard to find a bed he loves.
