I haven't had the product long, so I don't know how it will hold up to washing. The dog does like it though and has made it his own. It is big enough to hold a very large dog with comfort. It does mat down with use but for the price, it's reasonable. The top is soft and appealing and the bottom is a canvas type weave that appears as though it will hold up. I'd give it a try.
nice large size, dog bed seemed to go pretty flat right away in the center.bought 2, one for neighbor who loves to have dog visit.will buy more items from overstock because i think they ROCK
I have two very large dogs so these beds fit them perfectly with room to spare. The only problem I found was the need to fluff the bed regularly or the middle will have no padding.
We are so disappointed with this bed. I had purchased a smaller pet bed and both of the guys (little Maltese rescue fellas) love it, so I was looking for a second, larger bed for the puppy house. Altho the photo of the bed pictures a nice bed, the one we received is not good quality. The appearance is "cheap". The white side of the cover feels rough, altho it looks like lightweight flannel, and the green side is just ugly, cheap appearing and an irritating fabric. The puppies won't even sleep on it, so I'll donate it to our local Humane Shelter, where it will hopefully get some good use.This is the FIRST item I have ever been disappointed with by an Overstock purchase and I have been shopping with you for several years. This purchase won't affect my shopping relationship with Overstock, because the good far out - weighs the bad. But, "buyer beware" on this one.
My five-year old afghan hound, who is very particular about where he sleeps, loves this bed! He normally sleeps on our bed but actually has begun spending a considerable amount of time on his new bed. It is the perfect size-fits right in the corner of our kitchen near the air-conditioning vent. It is whiter than I expected, but so far after two weeks of use, it has not shown any dirt. I like the fact that the cover is machine washable.
