I have an 80 pound dog and it was a good size for him. When I took it out of the box it was nice and fluffy but it went flat after the first night. Now he's back on my bed...
I bought the largest blue one for my two boxers. It is a very nice size for my male (85 lbs). I haven't even washed it yet and the fill has really come apart in places making it bare in some spots and big in others. (I only bought it a month ago) I tried to shake off the hair before I throw it in the washer but it just made the fill worse. Hopefully it washes nice. The dogs love to lay on it, roll around on it, and dig at it. I guess all that matters is the dogs like it!
I bought this bed for my 50+ lbs. pit-bull. She loves it! Especially because she can dig it around and form it how she wants and it's big enough for her to stretch all the way out. This was a great purchase and the only problem is that it slides on the wood floor when she's running around playing so I would suggest keeping it on a rug.
This is exactly what was shown, so easy to wash but will warn that it is very big so a large size washing maching is what you will need. I have the new front loaders and it fit fine. When you take it out od the drier just shake to get the cotton back in place and your good to go. I have 4 dogs and they are all up in age so I have already washed it 5 times in just 3 weeks and it still looks new.
The bed is advertised with a picture of a boxer on it (and I have a 60lb 11mos old Boxer puppy) so I wanted to look further at the bed's description. The picture is NOT representative of the bed's construction and durability. The bed is not stuffed well with poly-fiber fill and is poorly crafted. My boxer layed on the bed and sank all the way too the floor, unlike the picture listed in the products advertisement where the dog is elevated and supported by the bed. DO NOT BUY if your dog/pet is larger than 15-20lbs.
