Mancala, also known as Kalaha, is one of the world's oldest known games, having been played in ancient Egypt as far back as 1600 BC. Mancala is found all over the globe and is very popular in tribes all over Africa. The object is to accumulate as many balls as possible.   • A very Well Crafted Set

    The game is clearly well made. Parts fit together well, hinges are sturdy, finish is high quality. Two small detractions: string latch is hard to open without fingernails, and wood beads are very bouncy and sometimes jump out of the intended cup. Overall, a good product that I would purchase again.
