I bought this for a 10 year old Jr Bridesmaid in my wedding. It was perfect for that purpose. She likes glittery things, and it was an appropriate keepsake yet not expensive, so if she really does not treasure it, it does not matter. It was perfect for a young pre-teen but the quality was not really good enough to be an "adult" gift.
