Pros: The humidor is beautiful, and is made out of beautiful knotty wood. It took about 2-3 days to fully prime it, and since then is has maintained a 70-75% humidity. The water sponge doesn't seem to need to be refilled very often either, which means the humidor has a pretty good seal. Its doing its job very well. Cons: The hydrometer that can with it was horribly inaccurate. I used a digital hydrometer to calibrate it. Calibrating the pre-installed dial hydrometer was not easy. Most dial hydrometers have a screw hole on the back that allow for easy calibration with a small flat head screw driver. However, this one required dismantling it and crudely using some pliers to turn the needle assembly to where it needed to be. I've found that most dial hydrometers that come with these small humidors aren't very good. I'd highly recommend investing $20-$30 in a good digital hydrometer. Finally, the two small windows on the front weren't necessary. I'd rather have beautiful wood there instead.

Nice and beautiful humidor it holds the cigars and it is a nice display

Though the quality met my expectations, if only the crafters had thought to look at the product before shipping. The back of the humidor has this beautiful BURL wood finish but the front, and I stress, the part you see most, has two big black 'notts' that detract from the overall beauty. It's utility was unsurpassed and my cigars are awesome, but I only wished they had turned the beautiful back panels forward and placed the ugly imperfections in the the back. That would have turned me 2 rating to a 5!!! Ohhh well.
