  Disappointing to have my 93 year old mother get the same package of many-broken cookies for 3 straight months. She called and was told that 3 months of the same order was impossible because they're from 3 different bakeries. Nope -- we saw them. They're the same. In addition, they would do nothing unless she mailed back a box of broken cookies -- a tall order for a 93 year old living alone. They at least responded to a second call from my wife, so we'll see if there's any redress.

  I ordered this as a gift for my Dad (who lives in PA, while I live in MN)--who's in his 80's and doesn't need more 'stuff' but likes a treat. I order a 6-month subscription every Christmas & Father's Day, so I never have to worry about a gift, & he really enjoys it (along with my mom!). I expected the cakes to not have much icing (because many are made with milk & that's perishable), to be on the small side (because when you order these things they usually are), and to taste good. I was right on all fronts. People may complain about the size or whatever, but I consider the gift pretty good, considering a 6-month subscription costs roughly $20 a month. If I were to 'think about it' & send them treats every month, the hassle would cost way more than that. This way, he has something to look forward to every month, and it's the gift that keeps on giving.

  Got this for my college age son. He loved it and looked forward to the deliveries. The packaging was great, sauces were fun!

  Everybody in my family loves spicy food, the hotter the better. I got one relative, my grandmother, this quarterly subscription and she just loved it. My other grandma I think got jealous so I got her a subscription for Christmas. You get two different hotsauces every three months. Whoever's picking this stuff out knows what they're doing, they make it so there's a good variety of the hotsauces, and it's all pretty obscure stuff, not something you can find just anywhere. Probably the best present I've ever given if I say so myself.
