  It has been five weeks since my mom received these orchids and there are still a few nice blooms left. She expects that they'll finish up this week. I have sent them before and she has always said how wonderful they are-- beautiful blooms and they last a loooong time, so I again ordered them for her birthday this year. She has called me multiple times to say how they continue to look great weeks later. The only issue is that there was supposed to be a card included that said who they were from, which apparently wasn't included. She knew when the orchids arrived that they were from me b/c I had sent them before.

  This was ordered on Friday, March 29th, 2013 from the "Gifts and Flowers"section, where a number of Easter products were prominently on display. Thinking we would have an option to choose rush shipping, my husband and I chose this gift for his parents, only to have it "send" without giving us any rush options--but the email confirmation stated the estimated arrival was MONDAY, APRIL 1, 2013. Clearly an April fool's joke on me. That is when they got around to SHIPPING said gift, so it was then too late to cancel. What a rip-off. Next time, I'm going with Pro-Flowers or FTD. If products will not SHIP until AFTER Easter, they should not be displayed in the Gifts section without a warning or disclaimer. This was worse than sending nothing at all. I will never use Overstock to send a gift again.

  I've been sending these for years. Always nice and fresh. The only thing you should figure out the timing of your order, since they only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays.
