Not so fragrant or potted gardenia
I sent this to my mother for mother's day and was very disappointed. It had not flowers or even buds on it. I was shipped upside down in the carton so the dirt feel out and had to be put back in when it was opened. I normally don't write reviews but when something is as bad as this, I feel like I should let other people know.

One open blossom
The plant was full and healthy with multiple buds. However, it had only one open blossom contrary to what is pictured in the photograph.

No blooms
Although the plant arrived very healthy, it was not like the picture with open blooms. Receiver did state that there are buds on the plant that should turn into flowers once planted.

Last thing I will ever order from Overstock.com
I ordered a potted gardenia for my mother on Mother's Day because they are her favorite. Instead, they sent her an azalea. I am aware of the disclaimer about sending an alternate product but in my opinion, an azalea is not the equivalent of a gardenia in either quality or price. Again, this will be the last purchase I will make from Overstock.com.

Nice plant, but no greeting enclosed.
The plant arrived later than expected, in good condition, ready to bloom. The greeting was not enclosed.

gardenia basket planter
The plant was delivered in a timely fashion, and was in good condition. The card was not included, however, and it was a gift.

NO Gift Card!
This was sent as a Get Well gift to co-worker. First, the order was sent to my home instead of to the person the gift was intended for. after OS did a nice job in resending, etc. I waited to hear from the recipient...nothing for 6 days. Finally, contacted her and found out there was NO giftcard in the package. She had no idea who sent the gardenia! The OS customer care representative put the giftcard info in the file. We went over the spelling, etc. Probably an error by the vendor. All-in-all not happy about this particular order history. I never ordered flowerd from them before and will not in the future! JB
