This item was a great Christmas present for my ever so "connected" mother to help keep her gadgets organized. The price was fair given the fact that its solid wood and seemingly made well. Only issue I had was it came with a tiny piece broken on it. I, not wanting to take the extra time to send it back, was able to fix it just fine, and plus I blame that on careless shipping (shipping which was ridiculously fast btw) so it wasn't a huge problem. Over all, pleased and so was she!
I'm actually not using this as a charging station but organize my nightstand - I have so many things that need to be plugged in - between my phone, alarm clock, bedside lamp, and light controler I was continually knocking one or more item on the floor. This has been the perfect fix! Pros: Versatile - it doesn't have dividers like some models, which means I'm not limited to small items (e.g. my reading lamp will fit). - You can actually have items on both levels, I currently have 3 items plugged in and resting on the top shelf, and another right below the top shelf (on the main level). So you can reasonably fit at least 6 items, even more if they're small. Storage - the drawers are really spacious, you can actually fit stuff in there. I have seen many other models where the drawers are really small or even just a fake front to leave room for the cord storage. Note: You can actually have items on both levels, I currently have 3 items plugged in and resting on the top shelf, and another right below the top shelf (on the main level). So you can reasonably fit at least 6 items, more if they're small. There's plenty of room for your cords, I currently have an extention cord with 6 outlet spaces, and you could fit a longer one. The top shelf is not permanently attached, so that allows you to fit things which may have a large plug end. Main shelf is hinged in the back and folds up.
