  I bought these last July for my 12 year old son who expressed a lot of interest in playing the drums, though he has a tendency to lose interest quickly in a lot of new "passions" As it turns out it was one of the best purchases I ever made. He shares them with his 6 year old brother. They were easily assembled (by my son) and can be disassembled and moved from room to room without much hassle. They are used several hours a day, every day.

  Kids love to pound on drums and if they're not well - constructed they will fall apart..FAST! I purchased a cheaper child's drum kit a few months ago but had to through it away 2 weeks later. So I was anxious to find something my grandson could play and learn on. ...something durable that would hold up to his energetic style, not just a toy that would break after a few days of playing. I was amazed at how well built this little kit is. Quality fixtures, tight adjustment hardware, sturdy heads . Finally a REAL drum kit meant for smaller rockers. Beware those less expensive drums. A little more now means a lot less frustration down the road. Nice product Overstock!

  I bought these mostly to use with my cowbell, or whatever other thing one might bang upon during drum circle [5 gallon plastic buckets sounds great btw]. They survived Faire, so they are A-O-K.
