i was very satisfied with the violin. it definitely was a good value for the money. there were many extras which added to the value.my only complaint was that the tuning pegs were missing. i eventually received them but i felt it took to long to receive them. i do not know why it was not checked before it left the warehouse to make sure all the parts were there.
I got a 3/4 size violin for my daughter. She is delighted with its look, feel and accesories. Her teacher believes that the instrument has a good sound. I believe it is a good value.
I bought this for my daughter who asked professional musician friends to evaluate it. They concurred that it was an adequate to good beginner's violin, and felt it was worth what I paid, but not more (in other words, it was not a $400 value). They also agreed that the strings needed to be replaced to improve the sound.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He plays gospel/bluegrass by ear and this violin far surpasses his old violin overall, especially for tone. We are loving this violin!
I am just a beginner so what do I know. But the after sound rings and the other violin didn't. I heard that is a good violin then.
I bought this violin for myself, a beginner. The strings were terrible as was the case. I put on a set of Dominants and it had a great sound. I was impressed by the back of the violin, which was one solid piece of wood, not two. It is a very pretty violin to look at and listen to, however, there is a funny ring that comes from the E string which I just noticed. Not sure if it's the string or the violin. I will be very dissapointed if it's the violin, because I've really enjoyed playing it so far.
