Classic Body 39-inch Electric Guitar

This guitar sounded like a true LP. However, the downside can be easily found on the quality of craftsmanship. I have to strip everything and redo the staining and re-applying the clear coat to bring it something aesthetic or pleasing to the eyes. For buyers who don't want their hands get dirty, this is not the guitar for you, because of the reason I have already mentioned. I do suspect however that these guitar came out in perfect quality until they buffed it or maybe boxed it while the lacquer is not fully cure. Lacquer paint, especially clear coat takes about 45 days to cure, before it can be buff. The item I received showed some of premature buffing dings here and there. My recommendation to any buyer is to take your time reapplying the clear coat and then wait about 30 days, and then buff to mirror like finished. This item is way much better than the being sold on ebay as kit.. Another recommendation I have is to upgrade the humbackers to high quality grade pickups. For example, there are some items for sale on ebay for about 70 dollars for two and they are a classic 1959 pickups (repro), but they looked and sounded pretty good. Without the finish scratches and minor dents, I would rate this product with 5 stars, because of the quality of sound. It is pretty good with blues, and can hold sustain pretty well.

First of all, this guitar is absolutely STUNNING in person. It extremely beutiful (Greenburst Color). This guitar arrived on time with a gig bag, picks, cable, strings, and a screwdriver. This guitar has a couple of finish flaws, nothing major, but definetely a little disappointing. This isnt a major deal since the flaws are on the back, headstock, and top of neck. The tone is great on this thing and great sustain. Overall I would reccommend this to an intermediate - semi pro/pro guitar player. For the price, its a simply un heard of deal. Overall, I'm VERY please with this guitar!

First off, the guitar does have killer sustain. It sounds great. I now have 4 other electric guitars and i have to say this one certainly plays as good as any of them. I really enjoy playing blues on this guitar more than my Strat (squire) or my SG (Epiphone). For the money, you really can't go wrong. Girls will think it is pretty. Change out the pick guard for a better color to impress the ladies, the off white is a little too off for them. ;) That being said, it definitely came defected: 1. The string guides in the nut were poorly carved out and the remaining plastic was still hanging around which definitely does not give it a clean finished look. 2. Where the neck meets the body I found a few blemishes, not from mishandling mind you but from negligence in production. 3. There was a fairly good size ding on the headstock. 4. (Worst by far) the selector switch only works in two positions rhythm and the middle. If you know how to solder, or better yet know someone who knows how to solder or used to work at a guitar shop, this can be fixed for free. 5. It seems like there may be some grounding issue because it puts out a LOT of noise through the amp when idle. Based on the fact that one position of the switch doesn't work, it is not unlikely that it is a wiring, grounding, or shielding issue. Again this is an easy fix. All in all, this is a decent guitar. But it can be a great guitar with just a little extra work. So maybe it's not a good first guitar, but it is definitely a good buy. Put in a little TLC and this thing will let you rock it all night long.

I have been laughing out loud since I got this guitar, I am so pleased! I heard a really famous beatle say that it isn't the guitar it's the player and those words inspired me to try a less expensive guitar. I have been so amazed by the tone and build of this guitar since un boxing it. Perfect for someone who does not want to invest hundreds or more into a hobby. I feel like I stole it!
