This is a better humidor than I would have expected for the price. The wood finishes are nice-looking, the humidor is reasonably solidly built. The dividers in the lower section and tray are both adjustable. That said, this is still a good bargain-level humidor rather than a top-quality piece. The seal isn't perfect, the veneers don't line up as cleanly as they could, the gap between the lid and the body breaks up the visual smoothness a bit, the hardware is a bit cheesy, and the interior details look a little cheap. Since a top-quality humidor this size could easily be over $1k, though, I still feel like I got more than my money's worth for xxx. For long-term cigar-storage use, though, I'd recommend two additions: a better humidifier and a digital hygrometer. The humidifier included is of an appropriate size, though I really prefer the RH-controlling bead/crystal style; if you use the humidifier that comes with this humidor, you'll need to pick up the solution (distilled water and propylene glycol) yourself. The hygrometer is a cheap analog model; you should do a salt-test calibration at the very least, and still don't expect much accuracy. A digital hygrometer/thermometer of decent accuracy can be found in the $20 range just about anywhere.
I bought this humidor for myself. I am not a "dedicated" cigar smoker, but the look of the humidor and colors were attractive, and i can store my few cigars in it. I received the Humidor on time. I attempted to install the humidity guage and it broke. I contacted Overstock, and using the conversation feature was able to resolve the issue and received a replacement withing a few days. great service. not sure yet on how the cigars are. too cold yet to smoke outside!!!!! Thanks.
This humidor is not only beautiful but it's functional as well. It has an ajustable divider to handle all sizes of cigars. And there is a guage which tells you the hummidity level. It's a pretty good size humidor so it can hold lots of cigars.
