Product came with scratches on the colored finish. The inside had a piece of cut wood stuck rolling around in the body, luckily I got it out. I thought it was minor details, so I still kept it, but after my third A string, I am thinking otherwise; it will not hold tune or stay in place.

Product not made very well
If you are interested in a toy violin then this product fits the bill. My daughter wanted to learn to play violin so I purchased this instrument. To my horror the tuning pegs do not keep the violin in tune and continually slip when played. While tuning the violin the fist string immediately broke. I was embarassed for my daughter bring this "toy" to lean how to play the instrument. The best thing about this product was trhe case. It was a great case to protect a piece of junk.
