I received this humidor in November 2010 and thought it would only be fair to use it for a few months before reviewing it. Well it has been 4 months and I can honestly say that this is the absolute worst humidor I have ever owned. It will not and never has come close to getting to 70% RH. The best I can do is 63%RH. I am not a beginner with cigars or humidors. I have been smoking cigars for 20 years. I also own two other humidors (***and ***) which maintain their RH consistently at 69-71%. Below are some of the steps I have taken to try to get this humidor up to 70% RH. Followed the instructions to the letter from Cuban Crafters upon receipt of this humidor.Seasoned the humidor for 2 weeks using three Boveda 84%RH Seasoning Packs. (never reached 84%) Put 90 cigars in this humidor.I am using one “Paradigm System Humidifier”, one of the finest humidification systems for 125 cigar humidors. After failing to get RH into the low 60’s, I swapped out the Paradigm System with a Xikar Puck 100 from my other humidor (still wouldn’t go over 61%RH) After that I added a Xikar Puck 50 into the humidor with the Xikar Puck 100 which was already in it. So I have the equivalent of a Puck 150 in the humidor. (still wouldn’t go over 61%RH)(Note…. When swapping humidification systems each one kept my other humidor at 70% so it is not a problem with my humidification systems)So after no luck In getting the RH up to 70% using various humidification systems I assumed that the culprit must be the seams around the glass.I proceeded to very thoroughly tape all the edges of the glass with Duct tape making sure to get every nook and cranny. I was going to use silicone but did not want to take such permanent action at this time. I was certain that this had to be the problem but to my surprise the RH never went over 62%.So at this point I started to doubt my hygrometer even though it was calibrated. So I got the 2 hygrometers from my other 2 humidors and put them all in this new humidor. All 3 hygrometers read 62% after 24 hours. This rules out any hygrometers being inaccurate.So determining that this problem Is not due to faulty a humidification system, or a faulty hygrometers or leaks in the glass I only had one thing left to try.I picked up some weather stripping and put it around all of the edges of lid of the humidor. Now as an extreme measure… I took my humidor with duct tape around all of the edges of the glass and weather stripping around the edges. I put all of my hygrometers in the humidor (Paradigm System, Xikar Puck 100, and Xikar Puck 50) I then put it in our dark bedroom closet with a phone book and a cinderblock on top of it to make sure the lid was down tight. After 48 hours I took it out of the closet and the RH was (drum roll please)………. 63%. I give up! I have no idea why this humidor will not even get close to 70%RH. I guess you really do get what you pay for.The only thing that you will be receiving when you purchase this humidor is a pretty box…. A pretty worthless box!

What a great humidor for a good price. The exterior finish is beautiful and the beveled glass adds so much style. I can read my digital hygrometer without lifting the lid (even though the unit already comes with an exterior analog hygrometer). With the two levels, there's plenty of room to store my cigars. I highly recommend this humidor!

I thoroughly read all reviews for the humidors. I bought as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it!!! Excellent choice.

I got this to replace my old beginner humidor and was pleasantly surprised when I got it. It looks great. Although the humidifier and hygrometer both were replaced with better quality replacements which made it so much better! I would definately reccomend this humor and definately remend getting a better Humidifier and hygrometer so your cigars don't dry out.

I got this for my husband for our wedding anniversary and he loves it! Easy to assemble and put together. Fits plenty of cigars and it looks great. It has a great shine to it and the glass allows you to see the contents without opening it. I would definitely recommend this to someone interested in a humidor. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I felt like there should have been more information about the warranty. All you do is send in a postcard looking thing and that sets the warranty.

This is a very good quality built humidor for the price. I have used this brand before and find the workmanship to be excellent! The humidor arrived well packaged and secured in mint condition. The solution and the cutter that were included were a bonus. The product was delivered promptly as well.

I purchased this humidor for my husband as an upgrade. The one he had was not large enough. When I opened the box I was impressed with the quality of the wood and all of the extras that came with the humidor. It didn't take long for the set up and the instructions were easy to understand. The hygrometer on the outside is a bonus because you don't have to open the box to check the humidity. Christmas morning my husband was amazed. At first he looked at me feeling guilty. I said, don't worry I got it from Overstock and it was a great deal. He absolutely loves it!

Well I was given a monthly cigar club membership for the holidays so decided to get a humidor. After research this one looked the best one for the price - and that turned out to be true. It arrived quickly, well packed - no problem with liquid supplied. Quickly put together and within 24 hours it was ready for those new cigars. It looks really good and with the glass can see the cigars. Very impressed and would recommend one thinking of a humidor, by the way cigars are fresh!

The box itself looked nice enough, which is why I bought it. However, the hydrometer on the front of the humidor (which is the other reason I bought it) does not work. We followed all directions EXACTLY for priming it with distilled water. We gave it over 2 weeks to work and get the humidity up. It never got above 50%. What we figured out is that the humidity is at the right level, but the meter is wrong. I bought it as a Christmas gift a little early. Therefore, by the time my fiance was given the humidor and tried it out, it was too late to return. I'm quite dissappointed that my gift was a broken gift with no way of returning it. Real bummer.

Unfortunately at first it arrived broken, somewhere in transit it must have ahd a bumpy ride, but once we got it replaced it made an awesome addition to the "man room" Anyone who wants a small, stylish humifdor needs this one.

I purchased the humidor as a Christmas gift for my hard to buy for boyfriend. He is a woodworker so he is very familiar with exotic woods. When I saw it was made of rosewood and ebony I thought it would be perfect. When it arrived at my office I was surprised at how much nicer it was in person than on the internet. I wasn't aware that the glass was bevelled, which is a classy touch. My assistant was so impressed after seeing it that she bought one for her boyfriend too. My boyfriend had a little trouble getting it to work so he called the manufacturer and they were very helpful. They gave him a few hints and within hours it was working fine. I overheard my boyfriend tell his friend "Yeah she did really good this year" after his friend commented on how nice the humidor is.

Once again Overstock came through. After months of looking and comparing, this product was by far the most impressive. The finish is of the highest quality. Anyone would be proud to display, store and serve the best cigars from this humidor.

This humidor is beautiful! My father has a very nice cigar collection and now he has a wonderful piece to display them in. The only problem is that the gauge for humidity does not work correctly. We had to purchase an electronic reader to take proper humidity readings for freshness.

The Humidor is a beautiful piece. However, my husband is having a difficult time getting the humidity to adjust properly. He is working with customer service to try to solve the problem.

We loved everything about this humidor. It was beautiful. The quality was superb. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a humidor.

The humidor itself is quite beautiful, a true show piece. Unfortunately the hygrometer is not working. It features prominently on the front of the humidor and may be difficult to replace.

The pictures online does not do it justice. Packaged to protect and when unwrapped by user it was love at first site. Great looks and unit functions as expected.

I bought this for my son for is birthday and he absolutely loves it!!!! I shop at overtock throught the year and it has only happended a couple of times where i wasn't completely satisfied with my purchase!

I was impressed by the quality of the wood and glass. It was shipped fast and my dad liked it.
