We bought this for our Basset puppy so we can travel with her. Right now, it is way too big, but this was the size suggested for a full grown Basset hound. I love that the carrier folds completely flat and is protected in a carrying case. If we're not using it, it's away and out of sight. The appearance of this far exceeds the standard metal or plastic crates. I don't know how well it will hold up to an "extreme chewer" but I believe that was mentioned in the item description. The sides that can roll up are great and offer plenty of air flow and visibility when you want that. This is certainly a quality soft dog crate... we're very happy with it and would buy it again.
