I ordered this for my son a couple of years ago. [grade school band lessons] It was cheaper than renting which was $35 a month. The band teacher was impressed with the trumpet and said I got a very good buy. Nice instrument.

The trumpet arrived in good condition but the metal on it is so soft that it didn't even last a year before it was knocked over & damaged beyond reapair. The local shopps refuse to even work on it because of the poor quality. sorry but spend the money to get a brand name.

My daughter is in 6th grade and just starting band. I was a little worried about getting a trumpet online, but took my chances. I had her music teacher inspect the Trumpet before she even saw it. He said it's ok. There is something she has to pull to keep it in tune but it's ok. I finally got to see her band instructor (he's usually at the high school) and he told me that he would of never known that I got it online and It was China made. He said that it's just fine. So take your chance if you want to. My daughters trumpet is ok, But we'll see in 7 years if it holds up.

I purchased this trumpet for my son in Cadet Band. A week after having it the valves stuck and wouldnot function smoothly. I took it to a music store and they said it was poor quality and those valvesare made cheaply and not coated with the right material for smooth playing. They said it had a valueof about thirty dollars.

We had a problem with the valves on our trumpet. The internal plastic was too soft and the valves would not lock in place making it impossible to play. Overstock has been very cooperative in our return of it. This is the first thing I have ever had a problem with from overstock.

I bought this trumpet for my husband, and he loves it. He sounds great and plays great. My husband is very proud of it. I love that it comes with a sturdy case and music stand. I have told alot of people about it and where i bought it from.

I purchased this product for my son who is taking lessons. He is extremely happy with the quality and performance of this instrument. I would highly recommend this trumpet for anyone who appreciates a good deal.

I recommend this buy to anyone (young or old) who is willing to be like Louis Armstrong or Chris Botti. This is a good place to start at a GREAT value. It comes with everything you need to get to keep it tuned up. It also comes with a music stand. The only thing it doesn't come with is lessons.
