A surprisingly cheap guitar that is surprisingly cheaper than I ever thought possible. Chinese-made guitar isn't worth $3, let alone $30. Do yourself a favor and get a real guitar. This one won't stay in tune and sometimes won't even get in tune. It's not even pretty. Looks like crap; sounds like crap. Truly a piece of garbage. Avoid at any cost, unless you need a guitar to break over somebody's head.

I ordered this guitar kit as a holiday gift for my sibling. I was worried it wouldn't arrive on time, as I ordered it the week before Christmas and it was only guaranteed by Dec. 24. To my surprise-it arrived on Dec.22 and was a perfect gift. The guitar had a beautiful black finish and was very easy to tune with the included tuner. It is a great beginner guitar and I recommend it for anyone looking for a starter instrument without emptying your savings!

This was a gift for my daughter, and she loves it. The only negative is that a couple of the strings were loose upon receipt of the guitar, otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars.

Great guitar for my little one. She has not put it down. A couple of the strings were really loose but tightened those up and she was all set.

If you are going to purchase this item please be aware that the strings are really lose and need to be tightened before giving it to a child. I didn't know about this and thought the guitar was broken. Personally, I will never buy anything from this website again because they lost my order and then were rude to me when I called them on it. It took them a month to get it to me.

Poor workmanship. Not reccomended for your child. It arrived broken, the neck wasn't even attatched to the box of the guitar. Thank goodness my husband is a carpenter/builder, so he could glue it back together. POOR poor quality!

I ordered guitar for my 6 year old daughter. The description and reviews led me to believe it was a good choice. Instead, I received full size version without gig bag and pipe tuner. I returned merchandise as soon as I could, less than a week of receiving it. It has been over 3 weeks and I am still waiting for my full refund. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least. The redeeming factors here were the Customer Service rep and the prepaid UPS return label.

it appears to be a quanlty guitar for the price. Good starter guitar for a young person and light enough for a small girl.

As stated there were cracks in the paint but for her first to practice on it wasn't worth trying to return it. Other than that it just what we needed.

The guitar was in decent shape other then the paint job... Looked like it was a rushed paintjob... The strings were really bad quality and broke as soon as we tried to tune it...

I was very disappointed with the quality of the guitar. It was hard to tune and the pasted on decorative paper began to peel. The price was good so since I am just beginning to play I decided to keep it but I would not recommend it to anyone.

we bought this as a gift for our 4yr. old who is always picking up my husband's guitar. We have a hard time keeping it in tune which may be attributed to the strings and the fact that its new. However, my daughter loves it. It was a great deal on what we consider to be a 'toy' guitar. If she ever shows enough interest for lessons, we would purchase/rent a nicer quality instrument.

It comes with no instructions, is not tuned, and has some flaking paint and small scratches. However, it is beautiful and is inexpensive. It is a good buy.

Overstock service was wonderful, I was told that the guitar would take a few days to arrive it took just about a day I received it way before Christmas eve as promise. The only problem like most reviews had reported is that the strings came loose, but overall every thing else went well. My ten year old daughter loved it we are now trying to get her some affordable lessons.

We bought this guitar for our daughter for Christmas. We were excited about the price and it was a done deal when we saw the "Made in the USA" logo. We received the box and it says Made in China on the box. False advertising??? Also, after reviewing the previous comments I will be inspecting the guitar as soon as I get home today.
