This cat tree is very attractive compared to the shag carpet things available. I have it in my living room near a french door so the cat can look outside. She is still getting used to it - I have to put her on it - but she seems to enjoy it while she is up there. The directions were easy to follow (although I screwed up a few times not being mechanically inclined). I just unscrewed and reattached the pieces I messed up on. It is very solid. I took the top level condo/post down and use only the condo part on the floor to help my cat access the tree because she doesn't (yet?) use the bottom stairs. She also seems to prefer the larger open space on the top level now that there are only two posts up there.

we bought this for our two adult indoor/outdoor cats for a 2 month stay in an apartment where they were kept inside, claws and all. with a sprinkling of catnip, they took to it right away, the antics are more entertaining than TV. it was easy to put together, and will be to disassemble and take home when we go. a note to the manufacturer - the hammock is a bit small in diameter, one more inch and my 7 pound little girl would be curled up in it all the time! absolutely recommend, also like the fleece covering way more than carpeted versions, the kitties love getting snuggy in fleece. also they scratch and stretch on the sisal posts instead of the trim in the apartment.

I just love this cat tree. Loved it so much I bought a second one for my daughter's 2 cats. My son put it together in 20 minutes. The box was really heavy. It took my new kittens 2 days to get the hang of it. They loved sleeping in the cubby. It sits in front of a sunny window and I can always find them there. Love it Love it Love.

Well made and sturdy. No problems putting it together. Very heavy. The fleece is easy to clean with soapy water...my son already spilled a coke on it. Our two cats love it and it is the first place we look for them these days. It should last a very long time.

My boyfriend and I purchased this cat condo back in Sept. We have two adult cats who previously had a small cat tower. As soon as they saw the cat condo come out the shipping box it was like looking at a kid at a candy store with lit up eyes! They were all over it. I have to say we are very happy with this item and most importantly the kitties LOVE it. As seen below on some other comments, the kitties really don't get in the basket but I do use it to store their toys. Even though we did receive the box damaged with missing hardware (due to UPS), the customer service with overtstock was great and they immediately shipped out the missing hardware and was received a few days later. This is an amazing steal compared to petco and petsmarts prices and they don't even compare to the size of this cat tower!
