this gate is almost perfect. we live in a apartment on 2nd floor and stairs are wide open. i have a 3 yr old and 11 month old and one on the way so we needed this! the only bad thing is the gateway to wlk through could've been a bit wider. it's a little difficult to get groceries and such through when coming home. but for the price it was a great purchase!

This book is quite detailed; To get the most out of it you would need to have Linguistic expertise. It is much more of a book on the college level. Getting into even explaining the "tonal" aspects of how to pronounce the different dialects. It includes a Sindarin to English dictionary and a English to Sindarin dictionary and much more. This book went way beyond my expectations: now I'm ready for grade school level type of book, as well as a possible voice app tool like Duolingo-now that would be outstanding.

I am extrememly pleased with these pieces. They were very true to the pictures online. They look fantastic and were extremely reasonable. My only complaint is that they were shipped UPS. Overstock uses both FedEx and UPS and my packages always come much faster via FedEx. I would defitely recommend this artwork from Overstock. GREAT VALUE.

Had the VOIP gateway up and running in less than 10 minutes. Just make sure you have all the proper info from your VOIP service provider. Using Google Voice and Gizmo5 to make calls.

Prior to the release of The Sims 3: Pets Expansion, I had washed my hands of EA and its most recent installment of Sims games. I've had SO much trouble and SO many difficulties getting The Sims 3 to run on my system glitch free that I've bought an ENTIRELY new computer system so that I could properly run the game. When the game STILL ran with glitches, problems, and sundry other issues, I decided to add 8 more GB of RAM to my system (putting it at 12 GB RAM total), and I bought an entirely new video card. Because my existing PSU (power supply unit) couldn't power the new video card, I installed a new modular PSU, and most recently I've added a new 5.1 channel sound card. After all of that, the game DOES seem to finally be running right on my system (*knock on wood*), but really? SERIOUSLY?!? NO one should have to upgrade THAT much on a 1 year old system just to get a game to run properly! So, you're probably wondering, "then why in the heck DID you do all of that?!?" Well, honestly? The short answer is that I just REALLY enjoy playing Sims 3! I remember when the original Sims (1st version) came out, I kept hearing about it from friends who raved about how fun it was to control these little virtual people in their daily lives. I didn't get it. But then I received a free copy of it (can't remember if it was the original or the 2nd edition of The Sims) with a Gateway computer I bought a good 10 years ago. I popped in the disc (without reading the manual), and tried figuring out how the heck to do anything with them, and what, exactly, I was supposed to do. I didn't get it. I DID finally get it after buying The Sims 2 and many of its expansions, and finally testing it out, after seeing the game run on a friend's computer. The game play was absorbing, and just... plain... FUN! There's a certain whimsy involved in playing The Sims 2 (I know, that's NOT this version; I'm getting there... but I DO still play The Sims 2, for the sheer fun of it)... and that whimsy has been mostly missing from The Sims THREE, until now. The Sims 3: Pets Expansion is exactly what I'd WISHED Pets was for The Sims 2. Here, you can actually BE the pet, and run around town playing with other creatures and Sims, and investigating things. You can choose the interactions you have with your Sims, so it's not just one-sided. You no longer just have pets running into your yard/house, destroying things, and leaving, with no fulfilling interactions. You can train your pets, pick them up, love on and snuggle with them; the gameplay with this version of Pets is just much, much richer. Outside of that, the sheer detail of what breed of your horse, dog, or cat you want to create, as well as all the details, coat layering options, and coat customizations is really mind blowing. Pet creation goes leaps and bounds beyond what you can do with Create A Sim! This is not to say that this expansion comes without glitches. Once again, I found myself dealing with the Special Seed/No Groceries For You! bug in the (very cute!) new town of Appaloosa Plains. I haven't been affected by that bug for many, many months. But it's an easy fix, so whatever. One strange glitch that I HAVE observed, however, is finding my town's horses (and now one dog) walking back home... backwards. ErrRRR?!? Strange! Either way, even with ALL of the problems I've experienced in my 3rd edition Simming, I still enjoy it, and THIS expansion has brought back much of that joy! There are wild animals to find (and make GOOD Simoleons selling!), tons of interactions to have with your pets or AS your pets, and many, many options for pet creation! This is the first expansion I've bought since about World Adventures that really seems like I'm actually getting my money's worth from EA! Simming, 3rd edition style, is SO much more fun with Pets added to the mix! Just be sure to have THE BASE GAME installed before you add ANY expansions, or NONE of those expansions will work! There IS a Sims 3 Pets AND Base game combo out there, so if you don't already own the base game, get that instead. I bought my copy of the Pets expansion here on Overstock because it was cheaper here than ANYWHERE else, so thanks again for coming through, O.co!
