Needs Power Supply.
The product works well, but does go through batteries very quickly if used to scan for weather alerts. I wish it came with a power supply, or at least an amp requirement to buy a correct one. (I could not find amp reqirement).

Does the job, needs a cord
It's smaller than I thought, it's palm size, like an old transistor radio. Can't set it for continuous monitoring on batteries, they die in about a day. You have to buy a separate a/c adapter. I haven't gotten one yet, but I'm guessing $5-10 more for that.
