  I had a sturdy smallish plastic shovel in the car for snow emergencies that finally broke. This replacement is pure luxury. The handle telescopes and the shovel head can be removed and apparently replaced. Very portable and comfortable weight. Feels quite sturdy. Nice green (tinge of gold). Bought the pair here and two more at the largest on-line only seller. The family loved their gifts. Everyone is now ready in case of emergency. It would also be a good buy for people in apartments and small homes that only occasionally need to shovel some snow or dirt.
