Hello JL, about 1 minute of cranking will get you 10 minutes of charge for radio and/or flashlight. If you use radio and flashlight at the same time, it may not last quite as long as using one or the other. In the beginning (and there are directions), you will want to crank it 120 cranks to initially activate the battery and then use the 1 to 10 ratio. Thank you for shopping with us.
