  Haven't tried the product, but will some day, whether in an emergency situation or for camping. The product is very perfectly packed in the box, cans were perfect, no dents. The Auguson site sells this product for 225 last time I checked. Saving XX dollars is a GREAT savings in my book. The cost per meal is very good also. Eating "regular" food for month is much more costly than this emergency kit. Granted, the food you eat on a daily (normal, non-emergency basis) is more varied, but I won't be complaining if I ever need to break this out in an emergency.

  Since this is emergency food I had planned to to keep it in storage only for the unforseen emergency that may come. How ever I have bought an additional 30 day bucket so i can actually test out the tastability and quality of the foods so i know if I would need to have additional nutritional emergency products on hand to suppliment.

  The 281 single serve meals in a bucket is the exact thing that I need for my disaster/emergency shelter. I'm one of those "doomsday preppers" and I am preparing for the worst while hoping for the best.
