I love where this mount places the GPS unit, its not distracting and easy to reach. It does fall over sometimes when turning or on a bumpy road. When it does fall, it stays in the socket so it is easy to put back in place. It doesn't fall on the floor.

As others have noted, you will have a loose fit, but that is not the fault of the product. The outlet in the car is not very deep and was not designed for this purpose. I am figuring out a way to make this more stable, but in the meantime it works fine. Ths product keeps one from having wires hanging down from the windshield and in my opinion will make the GPS less visible to theives

I still get a decent signal on my GPS with this in my Tundra. Accuracy never really goes beyond 20 feet with it in place, and with the windshield mount, it only goes up to 13 feet. This is my second one since the screw that holds the fuse in broke on my first one, but that was careless, the product is of good quality.

worked great but the screw on tip with the fuse came loose and fell off and lost them.....purchased a second one because I liked it so much...I will make sure the new one is tightened properly

This adapter works well so far and keeps the GPS off the dash and out of the windshield- (my preference). If you turn a sharp corner, the weight of the GPS can make it fall to one side, but that only happened once...yeah, probably my driving.

This is a good concept for easy to use and plug in a gps to a lighter socket but it is too good to be true. The arm is pretty sturdy but the weight point isn't only on the arm, it fail where the junction between the plug and the lighter socket, it is loose and simply can't support the weight of the gps to cause the entire mount to be very shaky and at times spin while driving. If you are looking for a bracket temp. use in your car then this is for you but if you are looking for a bracket which will stay in your car for a long time then you are better off with the conventional mount such as the windshield, dashboard or even the air vent type.

Very secure. And this thing grips both my cell phone and my Ipod Mini very well.

This product fits the bill for what I was looking for, though not perfectly. It is great enough for me.

It keeps the GPS stable on the dash board. There were no problems over rough roads.
