My son loves it, and let me tell you, it can be very loud!!

I had a hard time finding a shelf unit that had good sound and an iPod dock for a reasonable price, and this one fits the bill. The sound quality is good (not Bose or anything, but good) and I like being able to use the remote control from afar (i.e. while I'm cooking dinner). The only complaint I have is that it makes a whirring fan noise when it's on, but that's only noticeable if you're sitting right next to it. It picks up AM and FM stations my previous stereo did not. Lastly, it looks pretty cool in our living room.

I bought this for my 15 yr old daughter for Valentines Day. She is a huge music buff and loves every type of music, so we've heard it all on this system. The sound on this system is phenominal! =) We cannot believe how crisp and clean the sound is coming from her room all through the house. I still stop and listen to some of the instrumentals/vocals because of the sheer crispness of the system. It clearly rivals our home system, just not as loud. The only drawback I found was with the footprint. It takes up a lot of space, but she's got it crammed into her bedroom with a house load of furniture/electronics, so it still gets a great rating from us. She loves it and all her friends are envious; they all bring their ipods to listen to their music too.

I am a music person to the core! I bought this as a gift for my best friend. It sounds GREAT! I am going to purchase one for myself. It is easy to use. You just sit your ipod in the slot and you'll be listening to a sound that is just as clear and vibrant as the ipod. I like it alot. We all really like it alot.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She's thrilled. The stereo is very user friendly and ipod friendly and it fills her room with rich sound. I did a lot of comparison shopping and the power and features offered her would normally cost double or more.
