I bought this for my boyfriend so that he could rest his iPod or his GPS on his dashboard. He didn't want to hook his GPS up to its own holder because he was really concerned about the suction cups--people have been breaking into cars when they see those suction cup rings on windshields in our area. The product works just like it promises in that it holds the GPS in place on the dash but it doesn't leave any sticky marks. When he isn't using the GPS, his iPod stays in place. Would definitely purchase for myself and others.

Living in Denver, we have cold winters. This works well unless it is cold. The tackiness doesn't work well in that case. Otherwise a very good product (and cheap)
