iPod Nano 3rd Generation Soft Skin Silicone Case

This silicon skin is awesome to protect your iPod from bumps and nicks and cracks. I knew it didn't come with a screen protector so I bought one seperately. My complaint about it is that the silicon layer over the click wheel is so thick that you don't have much control like you normally would. But the material is supposedly not going to tear... so I cut it. I took very small, sharp scissors and made a little snip in the middle and then cut out the whole circle where the click wheel is. Now it's perfect. Protects my iPod and I still have great control over the click wheel. And for as many times as I have slid the iPod in and out of the skin - it hasn't torn at all. For the money - a great product if you are willing to take a couple minutes to modify.

This is an inexpensive way to protect your Ipod Nano. Unit easilly slides into sleeve and all functions are accessible while it's on. I've had mie for almost a year now and it's kept my ipod looking brand new. My only complaint if you want to even call it that, is that it does nothing to protect the screen, but you can buy a simple adhesive screen protector to accomplish that.

These skins look nice and fit well but the silicon over the dial interferes with operation of the Ipod. You need to use a sharp knife to cut out a hole for the ipod dial.

Overall it is good and does protect your ipod, the only comment is that the silicone case is somewhat hard to slide into the ipod.
