This product is not worth the hassle. Great price, but you get what you pay for. The flexible arm does not hold up like promised. The additional plug outlet but pointless to use becuase anytime you barely touch the dock , it cuts out.
The iPod does fit in there very snug and we need to use velcro straps to mount the dock to the dash to keep from falling over.
Defeats the point of the flexible arm capability. NOT recommended at all.

the fm transmitter is good but the gooseneck is terrible. The ipod droops down rather than being held in place.

It is great to be able to listen to pod casts when I am driving. This fits my third generation ipod. Also like that you can still use the power port with it plugged in. Well worth the money.

I have purchased both the Belkin model and this one in attempts to find a suitable solution for playing my iPod in my vehicles. This model bests the Belkin by virtue of having an open 12V socket built in, meaning that if your vehicle has only one 12v socket, you could use this FM transmitter and still plug another device into it's available 12v socket. The Belkin bests this model in that the extension arm is longer and sturdier, allowing you more convenient configuration options. As for the reception, they are about equal. I'm giving the edge to the Pyle as it has a backlit display when the tuning buttons are pressed. Overall a decent product for the money.
