To operate the iPod Airplay, just plug it in, program a station, and listen to your music, right? Wrong. I tried it on all three of my iPods, the nano, the video, and the touch, and it wouldn't plug into any of them. There are two plugs, one for the headphone jack, and one that won't fit in anywhere. It's supposed to turn on and activate your iPod when you plug it in, but if you can't plug it in, then it won't work! This is said to be "as easy as 1, 2, 3!" but apparently it isn't. Don't waste your time, or your money.
This device does not fit IPod Classic so I could not use it. It does not fit iPod nano either. I'm not sure if it fits any of the models of iPod.

I'm sure the product would work perfectly, if I didn't have a Nano 4G...there isn't any where to plug it in
It did not work. At all. Nothing, nada. Cost as much to send it back as it does to just forget it.
I've used iTrips before but after killing 2 of them over the 10 year life of my 3G iPod, I decided to try something different. I especially loved the idea of being able to tune the frequency independently of my iPod.The idea was to load the 24-disk recorded books onto my iPod and avoid the endless disk shuffle while I am driving. Sadly, the sound quality was so poor, I couldn't make out what anyone was saying. I did find that if I held my iPod out the window right up against the antenna, the sound quality improved dramatically but that proved to be unworkable for highway driving. This device joins the pile of useless cheap electronics I have taken a chance on an abandoned immediately. Back to the search for an iTrip compatible with my 3G...
I ordered this for my iPhone and my Ipod, it NEVER worked! I have tried several times to get it started but it never has turned on. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it.
this product does not work at all.....i have tried to use it on several different i pod models and i have still not had any success.
This ipod fm transmitter is compact and works great. The only issue I have is you need to use a frequency that is not in use. For example, If you use a frequency that used by local broadcasting station you will get cut-offs. Other than that works great with my ipod mini.
Bought for my ipod and doesnt fit. has chip the doesn't go to anything on the ipod, which makes it so it doesn't fit.
I had to give it away to a friend (who likes it) because it did not plug into my Ipod Nano. This only fits a select few ipods, and the website doesnt make it clear enough which models it is compatible with. Only if you have one of the following can you use this transmitter: Ipod Mini, Ipod Video, 4th generation Ipod with click-wheel, 3rd generation Ipod with touch-screen and buttons. Hope this helps!
I have a 2G 2nd gen ipod nano. I think this only works for 1st gen like 1G nano
