Questions & Answers
The Motherboard is a GA-A75M-S2V motherboard Support for DDR3 2400(OC)/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules. The RAM will be 2x4GB 1333MHz
Thanks for the information on the board. That is an A75 board with some overclocking capability which makes it an up to date and reasonable pairing for an unlocked APU. Based on my shopping, that would make this PC a stronger entry as many other A8 PCs I have looked at have an older (and cheaper) A55 board. The minimum on the RAM should probably be 1333 with a CAS latency of 7 but the 1600 with CAS latency of 7 would probably be better approach for folks wanting to overclock the unlocked APU. FYI, your Product Details give the socket type as the chipset. However, chipset typically refers to the motherboard north bridge which should therefore be A75. Socket type can be easily determined from the CPU.
