Excellent product that does what it is supposed to do. Well made. Does not slip at all. Eliminates forever the need to windshield mount, allowing you to place your GPS virtually anywhere you need it to be. Well worth the price paid.

For the poduct is a heavy duty mount base, it fastens the GPS firm beyond my thought.

This mount is very good. It stays put on my dash. With some adjustments, I was able to view my GPS well. I can take it off the dash easily and stow it away out-of-site. I used the wet cloth for the dash and peeled off the paper cover on the bottom of the friction mount. No directions are included with this item.

I have used this device with my TomTom One XLS. It is not very pretty, but it does the job.

It is great. It sits securely on your dash, console, or any other surface.

I purchased the base to eliminate the need to attach unit the unit to the windshield for safety purposes and it works great. I can place the unit anywhere on the dash board and it stays in place no matter what the road conditions are. I really like the way the GPS unit attaches securely to the base and can be moved as a single unit for storage when not in use. I purchase a second unit for a friend who was having difficulty with attaching the gps unit to the windshield which was obstucting the vision in the car. It solved all the problems and is now easy to place where needed. A must when space and ease of use is required.

I love this mount base. I didn't like my GPS mounted on my windshield and I just couldn't get it to stay mounted to the dashboard, so this was the perfect solution! When I exit the car, if I'm not in a secured parking area, I simply take the unit (base and all) and stow it away, out of sight. It's quick, it's easy and it stays where you put it! I would highly recommend the product.

I have owned this for over 2 years now and it is great. It does not fall off or slide at all and really holds our GPS well. It is large so we throw it under the front seats when not in use but would definitely recommend this product.

No suction cup mark on the windshield to say to would-be thieves, "Hey, there's a GPS in here!" We just slide it under the seat and it's out of view when we stop. I keep it in a ziploc bag when not in use to keep the bottom clean so it stays tacky.

The problem is my device (a Tom Tom) does not stay in this thing. The base doesn't seem sturdy enough to handle the GPS and the GPS usually falls out. This base also slides off the dash a lot. It hasn't really helped and I've gone back to using the suction cup that came with the GPS.

Wherever you place this base, it stays put. The suction cup on the mount from the GPS units fits perfectly. Every so often you will have to re mount the unit onto the base but thats the fault of the suction cup not the base. It's nice not having wires hanging from the windshield anymore.

This is the greatest for hand-held GPS units. Couldn't mount my unit to the dash....textured... or the window but the i.Trek heavy friction base works very well. Especially like that it so easy to move it to the floor if I have to be out of my car. I don't like to have it beeig visible when I'm away from the car.

Sorry I got this.. It doesn't fit on any of my dashboards

This mount works well in that it does not budge at all once in place. But the sides are too high for my tomtom gps and after a few uses, the suction refuses to stick to the pad so I just put a little water on it and press down hard! Then it's good to go.

Heavy little doughnut with the "grippy" bottom. It does exactly what it's designed for - hold a GPS firmly. Easy to move GPS from car to car without the hassle of adjusting the unit for fit.

The unit appears well made and heavy but it does not fit all dashes- particularly if the dash is sharply curved
