While this seems to be a good product, it did not work for me. I have a TomTom XL340S and although the product is large the opening for mounting the unit is not large enough(circumference) and is to deep. Make sure the mount will accomadate the model of your GPS

I wouldn't recommend the product because it's too large and doesn't fit on most dash boards. I'm looking for someone I can give it to as I can't use it myself and I don't want to pay to ship it back.

Excellent, fits my Acura slanted dash perfect and does not slide or fall off. I am recommending this to all of my friends, it is easy to remove when I leave the car, my GPS is a Nextar brand and fits this base great.

Item is quite large, I would think little bulky for most dashes. Fortunately I have a Tahoe so I had a little more space. Thought about returning but figured I could use it for something.
