bought this because I don't like sticking things on the windshield. I've got it mounted on a flat surface and am pleased that the weight of it doesn' t shift when I make any turns; there are other models out there that cost twice as much, so this one is a great buy.
I was very disappointed with the mount. My dash board is not flat enough and it slides off easily. The connection is a little difficult to plug in with the short neck of the regular GPS mount.
Its great I no longer have the GPS blocking my vision as it did when stuck to the windshield. It stays were you put it through hard braking and quick turns.
A great and simple product, which works effectively and solves the problem of where to mount the GPS.It can sit virtually anywhere and is easily movable when needed.
