This is a nice product... however, it requires the suction mount for the GPS. If you own a TomTom One, you know the suction cup does not stick to the windshield.It doesn't stick to this pad either which causes the gps to be top heavy and topple over. But, this pad does stay where you put it. So, for other gps systems, it's a great value and the reason I had originally purchased it was because it can be easily removed from view when you aren't using it.

I was unable to use the item...did not work for me...not sure if I can return it or to return it to who and if the cost would outway the amount...

This item works well with our TomTom. Does not slide around on dash. I like the fact that you can move out of sight while vechicle is parked. No more sticking on windshield and leaving circles. Would definately recommend.

After fiddling with my GPS falling off the windshield in the hot weather I purchased the dashboard mount and have been very happy with it. Very easy to install. Highly recommend.

Excellent product that does what it is supposed to do. Well made. Does not slip at all. Eliminates forever the need to windshield mount, allowing you to place your GPS virtually anywhere you need it to be. Well worth the price paid.

I didn't know what to expect before buying this product.I thought that the base would not stay put and that I was wasting my money.Not so.Like a rock on the dash.Worth every penny.

Came quickly. Exactly like the picture. However, my GPS suction cup still had problems sticking to the mount. It could be the cheap suction cup that came with my GPS.

I really like the way this base works. Was a little leery at first because I was afraid it would fall off, but it doesn't. Makes it very easy to transfer my Tomtom from one vehicle to another.

Recently purchased the Trek Heavy Duty Friction GPS Mount Base. Went to Florida last weekend and used it to hold my GPS. Worked like a charm. It was stabile for the entire trip. It was easy to move with the GPS still attached to it. Highly recommend it because it keeps it off windshield.

I purchased this mount thinking it would remain steady on my dash. Was I wrong, this mount slides all over the dash, defeating its purpose. Don't waste your money on this mount.

works great in my Le sabre,stays put perfectly,tho it does mask your vision slightly if centered on dash and reflects into windshield.
