Good, but misunderstood.
from Princeton, WV,  Jul 6, 2009

I had an old radio transmitter. It worked good, but got old. So, i got a new one.I thought that this one would charge my iPod. I plugged it in for a few minutes and I never seen the charge icon appear. However, it might have been fully charged or not plugged in long enough. You need to adjust the volume on your music device before the radio. Sometimes it get TOO loud. You just need to find the balance.Even though it does not charge, it has EXCELLENT sound quality and I would still recommend this product.OVERALL IT IS WONDERFUL!

As expected
from Bellingham, WA,  Apr 7, 2012

For the price, this is very handy and holds up decently well. Has decent audio quality, but it's nothing special. Perfectly functional. The only minor complaint I have is that the cord is really short. It's a curly cord, so it extends, but I used this to play music from my phone in the car and liked to set my phone on the passenger seat so it was a little too short for that.

ez blast
from Rio Grande, NJ,  Jan 21, 2012

I could not get my MP3 player to work using this devise. That was the main reason for the purchase. My husband got it to work in his van so I gave it to him. Instructions were poor.

Does not work well
from Philadelphia, PA,  Dec 25, 2010

My FM transmitter to play my Nano through the car radio got stolen. Unfortunately, I don't remember the brand of the one I had that was stolen. It was far, far better than this one. I get nothing but static and cutting in and out. If you live in an urban area, stay away from this one. I was going to send it back, but ordered another which was even worse. I guess bite the bullet and spend the money for a first rate one or have your car modified to handle an MP3 player.

It works
from New York, NY,  Jul 21, 2010

I'm glad that this actually works. I connect it to my Zune to listen to music in the car. I have the transmitter tuned to 88.7. It seems to be the only empty channel in the NY/NJ area. I do go through areas of static but i think that would be for any transmitter. The reproduced sound actually sounds slightly muffled, much like an old overused tape would sound. For the price, it's hard to beat though to listen to your music.

So cool to be able to listen in the car. Head phones are a drag.

ezBlast Audio FM Transmitter
from Clio, MI,  Apr 25, 2010

Excellent product, works very well. Is one of the few I have seen that still includes frequencys 77,8 & 77.9 which are important to me as they are the only unused frequencys in my area. I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing a FM transmitter.

Cheap for a reason
from Philadelphia, PA,  Oct 15, 2009

First the good (relatively speaking): I like that you theoretically can set to any station you want with this device. However this is a bit of a misnomer as you'll read below. Now the bad: The most annoying and really you can't get past this annoyance is that the circuitry in this is not hefty enough to really LOCK IN on an empty channel 100% clearly like more expensive models do. Most of the time, you still get some hiss and crackle that bleeds through -- JUST enough to make it annoying. I bought two of these and VERY rarely has either one of them played crystal clear no matter what station I tune to and I have used them in different vehicles and have driven in both rural and urban areas as well. Also, the low frequencies on this down in the low 80's and 90's don't work at all and didn't work on either one of my units.. You have to go into the mid and high 100's to get a good station. It looks like you have to spend the bigger dollars on a more expensive brand (which I had but lost and it worked great) in order to get really good sound quality.

Excellent bargain. This little thing does the same thing as other products that cost considerably more. When in use, it is not in the way of anything else on my dash. Audio quality is best at low altitude and unpopulated areas, and on the road around fewer vehicles, as it does tend to pick up other radio stations, but it can be adjusted very easily. I found a frequency that's been working well in my county consistently. It gets my stamp of approval!
