We have bought many things through o.co over the years and this is the first item I have had to return. We take the Nook at of the box, plug in the charger, then.... nothing. It does not take a charge. We have the same Nook already and were getting another one for the kids. We had no problems with our older one but this one is a dud. I typically am wary of "refurbished" items but thought that I would give it a try anyhow. O.co still has a winning score in my book but this item was a strike-out.
This is just an OK product. Hard to get books loaded onto it. For the money my Kindle Fire far surpasses this products. I don't think there's any comparison to the ease of use and quality.
My grand daughter is challenged and reading was not one of her fortes. So I got 2 of these. One for her sister. She wouldn't put it down and started reading and enjoying reading more. She carried it to school although it was not permitted but it was great to see her actually read a book. I got these for Christmas and it was one of the best gifts they got (so they said)/ I thought it would be better for her sister to have one to and they both enjoy their own. Thank you O.co
I love it, its with me all the time. I could have not gotten a better ereader. My husband likes it too, its easy to work and fine what you are looking for in books. Very easy to set up had no problems.
Bought this for my mother last Christmas- she absolutely LOVES it- probably the best gift I ever gave her... she has friends that have Kindles and Nooks that like hers better, and it was cheaper! Color screen is fantastic, and she can read it during the night when she wakes up 10+times...GREAT product for seniors!
