  This item is said to be for a NOOK Color but I have ordered and received it and it is too small for a NOOK COLOR. Then I forgot where I ordered it from and did it again, same thing too small for a Nook Color.

  Bought this case with stand for my Nook Tablet HD. It wasn't actually advertised for this particular model. It would work much better for the Nook Color or Nook Tablet models as stipulated. The main problem being that the cut-outs for charger plug-in port, the memory slot, and the speaker holes are not placed correctly for the HD model. One has to slide the Nook out of the cover in order to charge it. As a stand it works exactly as I wanted it to. Great! Although it is annoying to have to pull it out for charging purposes, for the price one cannot really complain. Perhaps someday the manufacturer will modify this case to make one more acceptable for the Tablet HD. I could not find a case on the Overstock sight that said it was specifically made for the Nook Tablet HD.

  I bought a black cover that appears to be identical to this one some time ago and was delighted to find it then at twice the price I paid for this. At the time, the least expensive Kindle 3 covers I could find were $@* to $@#. I have enjoyed the black one for 3 or 4 years, and the only problem I've had was with the magnetic catch. After several months' use, the magnet concealed in the cover became detached and migrated around inside the front cover. I worked it back into its original position and made a small cut in the vinyl through which I extracted the magnet. I then used a good quality craft glue to attach the magnet over the cut. It had held up until quite recently, when it became detached again, and I reglued it. I will not be surprised if the same thing occurs with my new cover, but I know how to handle it, and I still regard this as a wonderful bargain for an attractive and practical cover for my beloved Kindle.
