i am listening to the fm radio now i did put the pioneer speakers for the front speakers that made a vast improvement it came in condition where you would think it was new rather than referb it was so good i bought two i suggest if it vcomes for sale buy it it is at the price of a dvd alone the sound is excelent for the price if you spend a lot more you get more but it is one heck of a good buy like everything i have bought here i only recomend it for the price its a very good unit

This unit can only plug into hd component TVs and the speakers are only useful in playing dvds or cds. You cannot plug the speakers directly into a TV or an Amp, so that the only output the speakers produce are those coming from dvds or cds.
Great if you just want to use the system for watching dvds or listening to cds.
