And I'm happy I did. I've had the set awhile and it is performing better than expected. The User Manual leaves a little to be desired and there is little help with the set-up Menu ... but if you have set up TV's before you can do this. The HD picture is beautiful. It would be nce to have more input/output connections ... but for the price - it's more than OK. The set arrived in perfect condition and was fast.

Where do I start?
I bought this for my sister (which lives in another state) for Christmas. She's diabled and is home all the time with an old TV one can barely watch. So, we figured, HEY - we'll skip buying each other presents this year and buy Cindy a nice TV.
First, they didn't respond when I contacted them regarding giving her the warranty, which they declined when she sent in the warranty card. They said she wasn't eligible for the warranty because she isn't the one that bought it- Next IT DOESN'T WORK! It won't even turn on and she says there is no customer service number on the booklet she received with it!
I'm just hoping to get my money back to buy her a real TV!

the Monitor looks nice for a low priced united but it falls short of what to expect. Image looks like it has pressure marks all over it, my DVD player is ghosting bad enough i cannot watch it with out getting sick. Gaming isn't so bad on this unit ghosting is less noticeable. Audio rattles like crazy even after i turn off the bass.

This is a great TV, but the coloring goes off every once in a whle. So you think that you are watching something and then the color brightens to an unsightly scene. It lasts for a while.
Unsure if it is correctile, but overall it is a great tv.

I purchase the X2gen MV37R 37 inch TFT LCD TV with reservations. All in all it has a nice picture. The setting are easy to adjust. One dissappointed is that the we have not found the TV code #, that will allow us to program the TV and the satelite to one remote.

the picture is great.
obviouslly there are better TV''s in the market but you will never get the value for your money like here.
37" great TV for less then 600$ i am happy.

This TV was a great value for the price. The only issue I had is that the remote control will operate only the TV and I can not seem to find a universal remote that will operate the TV. So now I need two remotes one for the DVD, VCR, and cable box and the other for the TV.

I was a little apprehensive about this purchase before it arrived. After I opened the box I was surprised that it looked pretty nice. It was for my son so we hooked it up and the directions could have been a little better as there was some confusion in setting up the initial channel searching but after a few minutes we figured it out. The picture quality for a tv of this price is nothing shy of perfect. The sound quality is great. In some cases they say you get what you pay for but in this case I got alot more than I paid for....

The TV arrived in four days it was easy to connect and the picture is outstanding especial after direct TV connected the HD pakage I purchased the protection party and not knowing the brand but so far no complains.

Although this company is small they sure built one heck of a TV for the price. Inputs are confusing at first but why not further one's knowledge anyways.
The built in antenna provides customers with FREE HD TV. I have the pleasure of watching NFL on FOX and CBS every Sunday in free Hi-Def.
Better hope this tv comes back in stock again....for your sake.

I wasn't expecting much for the price; it's certainly an excellent value.
The screen settings are fine and adjustable. Standard def cable looks better-than-fine. The built-in audio is surprisingly good; I've held off hooking up the rest of my home theater speakers.
Inputs are great: I'm using S-Video, VGA and RCA jacks. Hooked up to a Mac, the text is surprisingly crisp from close up as well as ~10 feet away.
Have not yet tried HD content, but cable, DVDs and computer look lovely.
The firmware looks exactly like that used on the JVC plasma TV my mother has.
One wish: would love to find compatible codes for a universal remote. Anyone know?

bought this for my parents. they love it. i check overstock.com everyday to see when it will be restocked so i can get myself one too.
the HD channels look flawless. only gripe is lack of inputs (component), but i bought a 4 way switch to solve that problem. the color adjustments are useful and the on screen menu is simple to use. remote control is better than most.
This tv is a steal of a deal.

Everything about this TV is more than I expected. Figuring it out for the first time was a chore but after that it's great even looks and sounds better than my more expensive smaller TV.

I have had it for about a month now excellent picture, alittle bright on factory settings. The HDMI port was taped over(?),removed the tape used it with DirecTV HR21
and the sound was out of sync.But if used in conjunction with surround sound(TV audio turned off) it is fine. The component hook up audio sync is fine. I am a DirecTV installer,so I am exposed to many different brands and models of HD TV's in my opinion this set compares nicely to ones costing 3 times as much.

We received this - and super fast - the other day. It has exceeded my expectations. Have been watching TV's for deals for a while now and jumped on this (without my hubby's approval - oops!). He and I both love it. It's ginormous tho - we only wanted a replacement TV for the bedroom but I feel guilty having something so big, although it's just so nice. Again, incredible value especially with shipping. Everyone I know loves Overstock - I've been a fan for years and love them even more! BTW - the hubby didn't know about it but LOVES it!
