I purchased this set for use in my home office. Set up was simple. I don't have the set on an HD receiver and picture quality is not so good. Also, sound quality is relatively poor. I have to turn the volume to near max and the room is small. I wouldn't recommend for a room larger than 12x12 unless external speakers are used. Overall, the set works fine and is the least expensive I could find for this size set. However, if I were to do over again, would probably spend the extra $40 for a wide screen with better quality.

Being a little electronically-challenged, I had quite a time hooking this TV up to our dish receiver and even it was even more confusing getting it to work with the DVD/VCR player. My ignorance, not the equipment. It is the size we wanted and is working fine now.

I bought this TV 11/08 (16 months ago), hardly used it and now it won't power on. After reading reviews on other sites, I see that this is a very common issue!

I purchased two of these TVs and neither one came with a remote control or an instruction manual. I can download the instructions, but I wish they would advertise there are no remotes included.
