I brought this refurbished, so basically "you get what you paid for." The inputs in the back were not properly installed, as some ports were being blocked by the outer case of the hard drive. This sets the whole system off as certain things are not properly aligned. For example, the power on button has an issue as it needs you to constantly play with it to get it to turn on. To be fair, when hard drive work, its a great steal.

Easy to use. Does what the ad said it would and does it well. The fact that it was refurbished means to me that a person looked this over and made quite sure it would work and deliver...and it does. That it was sold at an incredible reduction in price over the stock price is what drew me to this Hard Drive. After reading what it was capable of, I was sold. All in all, quality; price; value...and it was delivered right to my door.

I received the Western Digital My Book Home Edition WDH1CS5000N Hard Drive quickly. However, I am not a computer wizard so has taken me sometime to figure which cords to connect and how to use the Hard Drive... there was no instruction booklet included with the Hard Drive and the only instruction booklet available was inside the unit....once I had it installed. But I had to install it in order to read the instructions.....may have been great for someone with computer knowledge, but would have been nice to have received a booklet, it would have taken the guess work out of installation. Apparently in the...What is included in your packet section on line....an instruction booklet was suppose to have been included....but wasn't. Still haven't transferred my pictures on the Hard Drive yet. But hopefully it will work.
