Great tool for this small-time artist
I'd recommend that you try before you buy; that's the best way to know if this is right for you. Some might consider the 12-inch screen too small for serious work, but I find it works great when keeping a larger "macro" view on my larger monitor (in Photoshop, Window>Arrange>New Window for Document). Also, even desk space is at a premium in my small apartment, so it's nice that the unit is very light and easily tucked away when not in use. Knocking off one star because the 12WX is overdue for an update; they've been manufacturing this model for over four years. There have been advances in display technology since then, and I'm certain artists have offered feedback that could result in usability improvements. Wacom really needs some competition!
