Shipping Damage
The TV was a shipped in a flimsy cardboard box and received shipping damage on the bottom speaker and the upper left corner. It looks a bit beaten up and I would have bought a brand-new TV if I'd known the quality was to be so poor.

Can't beat the price
I would buy this TV again. Very pleased with the Vizio TVs, and this is my first experience with a re-manufactured one.

Dead power supply
I really do not know what the quality of the set is like as it never powered on. It has a separate power supply like most laptop computers, and when I checked it with a voltmeter it proved to be supplying zero volts. Also, the manuals that came with the TV were for a different model. I returned the set and my money was promptly refunded.

Great TV.
This is my first flat-screen TV, and I'm perfectly happy with it. I bought it refurbished, and there wasn't a scratch on this thing. The image is vibrant, with great color. My only complaint would be the sound, it just sounds kind of thin. But once you get used to it, you'll notice the sound has more detail, and feels like it surrounds you, even with no system attached to it. All I notice now, is a slight absense of bass from the sound. All in all, a great TV.

- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Well, I bought a refurbished unit. The only "defect" I noticed, is that on the back of the TV, there was a torn label.
