We purchased this tripod for my husband's bird watching scope. It also fits my 35 mm camera. We bought it because of the price, but when we received it we were surprised by the quality. And so cheap!!! The carrying bag is a bonus. We would recommend this tripod to anyone needing a light weight tripod. We also loved the shipping price! Thanks, Overstocks!

Probably what you would expect for the price. All locking parts work and nice feature to have a level. Very lightweight as advertised. A little worrisome if you have a heavy camera.

Great gift for the budding photographer. Wife thought it to be cute. you can pick it up anywhere, I just like doing business with Overstock from time to time

All around good tripod for the money, lightweight, quick release toggles, stable for lightweight cameras. I'd be concerned about putting a full size SLR on it. The one drawback is that the mount must be removed from the tripod to attach to the camera. The stated benefit is that it makes for an easy removal when you're not using the tripod, since the base remains on the camera. I loaned the tripod to an associate at work, and he almost left without taking the mount off his camera, that would have rendered the tripod unusable.

This is quite a tripod for the price. I would not use it for a heavy camera - but it is perfect for smaller ones. it can be a table top up to standing on its own on the floor. Great value. The telescoping legs are great but the tabs are a bit cumbersome.
