Vivitar Letdown
I am a professional photographer and bought this flash for my daughter to use with her Canon camera. I've been using Vivitar flashes since I started shooting 35mm film, and have never been disappointed until now. The flash is simple to use - attach it to the camera and turn it on. That is all the control you have of the flash. That would be fine except the images are all too bright - too much flash, and no way to control the TTL logic. I tried this flash with her camera and several of mine - same result each time. So if you want a simple TTL flash and don't mind how bright the images are, this is a good value and I recommend it. If you wish to have control over your flash output to have your images come out the way you want, you're better off spending the bucks on a Canon flash.
